Node.JS Backend Developer

Job Title: Node.JS Backend DeveloperType: Remote ContractStart Date: January (End of the month)Rate: Open (Cost-Effective Preferred)

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js, Express, and Next.js.Implement integrations with third-party services and APIs.Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of the applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features.Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Node.js (v20), Express (Latest), Next.js Middleware/Integrations (v14).Strong experience with Express HTTPS, HTTP/2, and Typescript APIs using native Fetch.Knowledge of PostgreSQL database and REST API development.Familiarity with Secure Cookies, GraphQL API, and Next.js Middleware.Experience with API Gateway.

Additional Experience/Ideal Candidate:

Familiarity with serverless functions.Knowledge of React Server-Side Eventing.Exposure to Edge Functions.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Node.js Developer.Solid understanding of server-side development and API integration.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning.
