API Developer

Compensation: $120,000 - $170,000 / year

Reporting to the Team Lead, you will be responsible for working on a team of four to five Engineers to tackle the platform needs of large organizations. Key Responsibilities

Design and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment frameworks from code to deployManage and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliabilityDesign scalable, efficient, and secure APIsIntegrate APIs with various cloud services, databases, and third-party systemsOptimizing API performance to handle high traffic and reduce latencyImplementing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for APIsImplementing caching strategies using cloud servicesProvide support to ensure mission critical applications and components are being monitored and meet security, reporting and retention requirements as well as disaster recovery requirements of clientsWork closely with front-end developers to create seamless application integrationsSupport team members

Skills Knowledge & Expertise

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of API development experience3+ years of AWS experience2+ years of Kubernetes experienceExtensive programming language experiencePython experienceTerraform experienceCloud certificationsExcellent communication skillsStrong multi-taskerSelf starterTeam player

Preferred Qualifications:

Azure, AWS and GCP Professional level certificationsKubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS)Agile experience
