Job Description
The goal of the role is to design, develop, test, maintain, and provide assistance with the support of . NET applications software.
You will be involved in technical analysis, design and programming; integration, technical and operations support.
The value-add things you’ll be doing:Designing, coding, testing and installing applications programs either in one major program or a range of programs across multiple platforms.Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining systems and program documentationAnalysis and design of applications programs and databases.Design and development of application enhancements and assistance with troubleshooting applications programs.Liaising with, and providing advice to, business analysts to confirm/clarify business requirements.
Qualifications
Key skills and attributes that will set you up for success:3-5 years of experience in Programming and Applications Design, with a minimum of three years in a large IT site, coupled with tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related disciplineAt least three years commercially proven experience in developing applications, including at least 2 years working with Microsoft .NET and proficient in C# language, architecture and design standards.Extensive knowledge of dependency injection and Entity framework.Developed knowledge of Object Orientated (OO) analysis and design, OO methodologies and techniquesDeveloped skills and knowledge of one of the major relational database packages such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.Ability to understand the essential needs of users and meet these in well-designed programKnowledge of source control systems like Bitbucket or GitHub is desirable.
