We build fare collection platforms that allow riders to seamlessly buy and present tickets for public transport either on their mobile phones, from a ticket machine, or even by tapping their bank card to travel.

The role:// We are looking for a Senior Front-End Javascript developer with experience in core web technologies and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue to work as part of our highly successful Justride team. Our platform primarily uses Vue, with some legacy code in Angular.

The Justride team is responsible for the development and maintenance of several web applications used by customers of the Justride platform. These platforms combined currently process over $1 billion in transactions a year. With these kinds of numbers, security and fraud mitigation are paramount to our success.

We ensure high standards through comprehensive end-to-end and unit testing, as well as refactoring to ensure we work to the latest standards and best practices.

We work as part of a cross-discipline team that delivers robust and reusable components originating from product requirements through UX, design, development, and quality assurance. We are looking for a proactive person to join the team and actively contribute to code reviews, pairing, knowledge sharing, mentoring and technical road-mapping.

Location:// This role is available in Colombia, in a fully remote model with occasional travel to one of our offices.

About You:A good command of the English language is required for this role, including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and spoken EnglishProficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with experience in ECMAScript and other transpilersSkilled in using JavaScript component frameworks like Vue and AngularStrong understanding of web standards, accessibility, and usability, including W3C standards and WCAG 2.2Experienced with client-side bundlers such as Webpack, Rollup, and ViteLed the delivery of complex, innovative solutions in fast-paced environments, adapting to changing prioritiesCommitted to mentoring front-end engineers, helping them grow their skills and become more effectiveSkilled in making strategic decisions and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiencesApproachable, patient, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative environmentPassionate about maintaining technical quality and user-centred designChampion of best practices across the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, automated testing, and operations
