Ruby/Golang developer

Digitech is currently partnered with an ecommerce business. They are expanding and are looking to add an experienced Ruby/ Golang developers to their team.

What you'll be doing:● Utilise a variety of backend technologies to build scalable products● You'll take part in decisions related to how we undertake new projects● Help drive a continuous planning process, and be encouraged to identify, analyse andsolve your own business problems using any platform at your disposal

Role requirements:● Pride in readable, well-designed, well-tested software● Be comfortable dealing with undefined problem spaces, analysing data and excel atcreating your own solutions● Professional experience with highly scalable service, streaming or event driven, in anylanguage, and a willingness to quickly get up to speed on our stack (Ruby/Rails,Scala, Go)

Great candidates would have some of:● Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. RSpec, Minitest, Capybara, Selenium),writing code in a TDD approach.● Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and key-value stores(Memcache, Redis)● Experience with front-end web technology, ideally with React● Experience with AWS (Connect, Lex etc) or Terraform is a plus

This is a fully remote opportunity- UK- EUROPEContract role: inside IR 35- within the UK
