Frontend Developer for Transformative Ai Veterinary App

We are looking for a driven, thoughtful and tech-oriented Frontend Developer who is interested in creating an intuitive and user-friendly Ai application that will help transform the Veterinary industry. You should be passionate about creating a positive user experience and excited to implement solutions in a healthcare setting. We are looking for a team member that is well versed in frontend JS development. If you relish the challenge of designing and implementing an effective clinical application that has the power to transform the delivery of healthcare, this role is for you! Must be both a self-starter and team oriented working with Full-Stack Engineers, Project Managers, Doctors and Data Scientists. This role has a tremendous opportunity to grow with the company either toward a technical path of Lead Frontend Developer and technical leadership or toward a management path overseeing a team in a rapidly growing space. Experience and Job qualifications

3+ years of experience building object-oriented web and mobile applications Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScriptStrong experience in Vue.js The ability to create applications that work well on a variety of devices and screen sizes, using techniques such as CSS media queries and frameworks like Bootstrap Experience in consuming and integrating with RESTful APIs, and understanding how to handle asynchronous requestsExperience with mobile development frameworks including Vue Native or Iconic Excellent at debugging and troubleshooting and writing unit tests as well as testing in mobile debugging environments A basic understanding of user interface and user experience design to ensure the application is both visually appealing and easy to use.Awareness of common security concerns in front-end development, such as Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) and Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF), and how to mitigate them.A bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent Experience working with cloud infrastructure Must have experience with GITHUB

Location, Salary & Benefits This can be either an in-office or remote, work-from-home position with the requirement for in-person meetings up to twice quarterly. Candidates that wish for an office setting either full or part time will have access to our Vancouver, BC Yaletown location, located in the heart of the city’s tech vibe. Three-month contract to start.
