Project:ISTP MaintenanceContext:The ISTP Maintenance project involves ensuring and supporting various technical processes related to scheduling and passenger information for customers in passenger transport and stations. This includes tasks such as reporting vehicle damage, documenting delays, tracking trains, reporting operational status, scheduling trains, and allocating personnel and vehicles. The project services mainly involve defining and designing functional application architectures, as well as developing and integrating applications within this technical domain.Services Required:Technological Strategy and Risk Management:Drive the implementation of the technological strategy in the database area.Facilitate architectural knowledge exchange and promote innovation and standardization within the project.Implement risk management by evaluating and documenting technical risks and advising on actions to eliminate or minimize these risks.Database Development and Consulting:Analyze technical requirements for databases and develop solutions that adhere to the client's standard and reference architectures.Create technical development concepts and assist in the further development of database systems.Provide consulting services for the implementation of the technical database architecture within the software.Technical Architecture and Quality Assurance:Define technical requirements and implement the technical architecture in the database area based on these requirements.Determine non-functional requirements, document them, and ensure quality assurance by monitoring their implementation in the project.Conduct reviews of design, code, and tests.Workshops and Presentations:Moderate workshops on technical architecture topics and present technically complex topics to stakeholders.Duration and Total Scope:Place of Performance:The primary location for this project is Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Services will be provided onshore from Germany. Service provision outside Germany requires client approval, and any cost advantages must be passed on to the project. Services outside the EU are generally not planned.Technical Requirements:Mandatory Requirements:Database Development:At least 6 years of practical experience in database development with PL/SQL in OLTP/OLAP/DWH areas, and with Oracle 18 to 21.Technical Implementation:Experience in exploring technical implementation options, creating development concepts, and defining technical requirements for hardware and software.Quality Assurance and Reviews:Proven ability to conduct design, code, and test reviews, and to document and monitor non-functional requirements.Practical Experience:At least 6 years of experience in database optimization with SQL plan management and in database development, which can be verified through project history in the CV.Desirable Skills:Agile Process Models:At least 4 years of experience working with agile process models such as Scrum or SAFe.Cloud Environment:Experience managing applications in the cloud environment with AWS, including 4 years of practical experience.PostgreSQL:At least 3 years of practical experience with PostgreSQL, including development, operation, and performance optimization in AWS.Java Persistence Frameworks and Linux Administration:4 years of experience with Java Persistence Frameworks and Linux administration, including Shell Scripting.Industry Experience:At least 1 year of practical experience working in the transport industry, such as the aviation or rail sector.
