Position Overview: As a Part-Time WordPress Developer at DevelopersZone, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites for our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the WordPress ecosystem, be adept at problem-solving, and possess a keen eye for design and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.Maintain and update existing WordPress websites to ensure security, performance, and compatibility.Collaborate with designers and project managers to bring web designs to life.Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and SEO best practices.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites.Implement responsive designs to ensure websites function across various devices and browsers.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in WordPress development.

Requirements:Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.Experience with front-end technologies such as Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.Deep understanding of the WordPress core, themes, and plugins.Experience with WooCommerce, Elementor, or other popular WordPress plugins.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and time management skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.Familiarity with WordPress Multisite.Understanding of accessibility standards and compliance.Knowledge of performance optimization techniques.

Contract Details:Part-time position with flexible hours.Remote work with occasional meetings.Competitive hourly rate based on experience and expertise.
