Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior ODI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions to support our organization s data management needs. This role requires deep technical expertise in ODI and a strong understanding of data integration best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience working in complex data environments and will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and efficiency of our data integration processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:Lead the design and development of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).Develop and maintain complex data mappings, workflows, and transformations to integrate data from various sources into the target data warehouse or data marts.Implement best practices for ODI development to ensure high performance, scalability, and maintainability of data integration processes.Data Integration and Management:Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data integration solutions.Manage the end-to-end data integration lifecycle, including data extraction, transformation, loading, and validation.Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that data integration solutions meet business needs.Performance Optimization:Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data integration processes.Optimize ETL jobs for efficiency and reliability, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum throughput.Monitor and tune ODI processes to maintain optimal performance and stability.Data Quality and Governance:Implement data quality checks and validation processes within ODI to ensure data accuracy and consistency.Work closely with the data governance team to enforce data standards and ensure compliance with data governance policies.Troubleshooting and Support:Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for ODI-related issues.Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for data integration failures or performance issues.Ensure timely resolution of issues to minimize impact on business operations.Documentation and Reporting:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ODI processes, including design specifications, workflows, and operational procedures.Generate reports and dashboards to monitor the status and performance of data integration processes.Mentorship and Leadership:Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and sharing best practices.Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices within the team.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the data integration team s processes and methodologies.Project Management:Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation for data integration projects.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of data integration solutions on time and within budget.Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status and risks effectively.Technology Innovation:Stay up to date with the latest developments in ODI and related technologies.Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the data integration environment.Drive innovation within the team to improve data integration processes and outcomes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master s degree preferred).Extensive experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) development, including hands-on experience with ODI 12c.Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and database management.Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and other data manipulation languages.Experience working with large-scale data integration projects in complex environments.Proven track record of optimizing data integration processes for performance and reliability.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
