About TectmindTectmind is a pre-seed startup on a mission to leverage artificial intelligence to optimize zoning analysis. Our development feasibility platform filters through complex zoning laws, presents users with development options and shows them the mass of your building so they can decide on the feasibility of projects in seconds without the help of zoning experts. We are a passionate team of engineers and innovators dedicated to making construction faster, more efficient, and sustainable.

About the InternshipAs a Software Development Intern, you will gain valuable experience working on a variety of projects across the full development stack. While this position is unpaid, you will collaborate closely with our experienced engineers to develop and maintain our web applications and AI-powered tools. The program is offered for either 4-6 month schedules with a commitment of 8 hours per week.

ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the entire development lifecycle, from designing and implementing features to testing and deploymentCollaborate with engineers and other team members to design, develop, and maintain web applicationsBuild reusable and well-documented code using Javascript and PythonContribute to the improvement of existing codebaseStay up-to-date on the latest web development technologies

QualificationsCurrent student enrolled in a computer science or related program (or individual not registered with an academic institution) residing in CanadaStrong programming skills in Javascript and PythonFamiliarity with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Django)Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Excellent communication and collaboration skillsA passion for learning and a drive to excel
