Role DescriptionThis is a remote contract role for a Python Developer at Kastech Software Solutions Group. The Python Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, object-oriented programming, programming, and databases to support various projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python and AWS infrastructure services (S3, ECS, Load Balancer, Open Search).Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git, facilitating continuous integration and deployment of software solutions.Apply best practices in object-oriented programming to ensure code modularity and maintainability.Conduct unit testing to verify the functionality and performance of applications.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges.Leverage AWS services effectively to build and scale reliable distributed systems.Ensure the security and efficiency of web applications through the implementation of authentication and authorization mechanisms.Apps with UI will be in StreamLIT and backend AWS + Elastic Search.

Basic QualificationsBack-End Web Development and Software Development skillsProficiency in Python and experience with AWS Infrastructure as Code.Demonstrated experience in DevOps practices, including Git CI/CD.Experience in building web applications and familiarity with AWS services such as S3, ECS, Load Balancer, and Open Search.Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.Competence in unit testing and ensuring software quality.Familiarity with data structures, software architecture, and document file management.Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Programming skillsDatabases knowledgeStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and remotelyExperience with ERP systems like SAP or PeopleSoft is a plusBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with embedding databases or vector stores, especially Elastic Search or Open Search.Knowledge of Docker for containerization and deployment.Proven ability in building and scaling reliable distributed systems.Experience in developing authentication and authorization for web applications.Experience building LLM applications or engaging in prompt engineering.Familiarity with functional testing methodologies.This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide array of projects, enhancing your skills and experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
