Full Stack Developer

Adentro is a San Francisco-based company backed by the biggest names in Silicon Valley. Our teams enjoy a remote first and highly flexible work culture. Our technical teams are located in Waterloo, Ontario and surrounding areas. This position is available as a remote first position, within Canada. The candidate should be available during core eastern time zone hours as well as participating in our periodic on-call rotation.

As an experienced Full Stack Developer you will have opportunities to work at all levels of our technology stack, from the customer facing dashboards and back-end business logic, to the high volume data collecting and processing. As a Full Stack Developer you should be comfortable around a range of different technologies and languages, and with the integration of third-party libraries and development frameworks.

What You'll Do

Work with project stakeholders to understand requirements and ideate software solutionsDesign client-side and server-side architecturesBuild front-end applications delivering on usability and performanceBuild back-end services for scalability and reliabilityWrite effective APIs and build to third-party APIsAdhere to security and data protection standards and requirementsInstrument and test software to ensure the highest qualityMonitor, troubleshoot, debug and upgrade production systemsWrite technical documentation

What You Have

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar roleComfortable with Golang, Scala, Python, and Kafka, or the desire to learn these technologiesExperience in front-end web development helping to create customer facing user interfaces; experiencewith ReactJS a plusFamiliarity with databases and data warehousing such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SnowflakeFamiliarity with Amazon Web Services cloud platformAttention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a desire to be part of a teamDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
