Summary: The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in software development, with strong skills in C#, Python, and JavaScript libraries. Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and enhance a variety of in-house, SaaS, and proprietary applications within the retail environment.Work with multiple programming languages, focusing on C#, Python, and JavaScript, while staying adaptable to evolving technologies and frameworks.Perform front-end UI development and ensure integration with back-end systems for a seamless user experience.Collaborate with or independently take on business analysis tasks, translating business needs into effective technical solutions.Take part in incident management, configuration management, and oversee the application lifecycle within the retail stack.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices.Support the integration of retail applications across various distribution channels, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
Qualifications:5+ years of software development experience, with advanced proficiency in C#, Python, and JavaScript.Solid experience with databases, such as SQL.Proven ability to work across both front-end and back-end development, with a strong preference for full-stack expertise.Familiarity with a variety of development frameworks and the flexibility to adopt new technologies as needed.Experience in business analysis or close collaboration with BA teams.Knowledge of the insurance industry, particularly personal lines, is a strong plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication skills, able to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
