Front-End Developer

Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Angular Front End Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal

candidate will have a strong background in developing user-friendly web applications, with a focus on creating

responsive, high-performance, and visually appealing user interfaces. You will work closely with our design

and back-end development teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

This project includes IT application maintenance, enhancement, and modernization efforts whereby you’ll be

responsible for development of user facing software development projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or significant equivalent experience.Strong understanding of Angular framework, components, services, modules, and state management.Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Angular 14 or higherUnderstanding of web accessibility standards and 508 compliances.Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.Experience with the Microsoft .NET Framework (version 4+ or .NET 6+)Experience with Microsoft ASP.NET WebForms or ASP.NET MVCExperience with T-SQL for Microsoft SQL Server

Summary of Major Job Functions

Participating in project planning meetings to understand project goals, timelines, and deliverables.Coordinating with team members, including designers, back-end developers, and product managers, to ensure alignment on project objectives.Writing and maintaining documentation for the front-end codebase, user interfaces, and workflows.Collaborating with QA teams to ensure that the front-end meets quality standards and functions correctly across different browsers and devices.

Technical Activities

Develop and maintain complex front-end web applications using Angular.Ensure applications are optimized for maximum speed and scalability.Work closely with UI/UX designer to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and other services.Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.Troubleshoot and debug application issues, providing timely resolutions.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead the development of user-facing software projects, focusing on creating responsive, high-performance, and visually appealing user interfaces.Ensure the codebase is maintainable and scalable through regular code reviews and adherence to best practices.Collaborate effectively with the design team, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions.Take ownership of troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues to maintain application stability.Continuously improve the development process by adopting the latest best practices and technologies relevant to front-end development.
