We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java Cloud Experience (java / Apigee/ Postgres) SQL Server GitHub Copilot Prompt Engineering Postgre Spring Batch Java Persistence API Spring MVC Python GIT Web Logic Application Server SOAP Maven Spring Boot Microservices Spring Core REST Web Services Core Java and PL/SQL. Additionally, expertise in Payment Switch.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of complex software solutions using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Oversee the implementation of REST Web Services to ensure seamless integration with various systems. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Utilize SQL Server and Postgre to manage and optimize database performance. - Implement and maintain SOAP and RESTful web services to support business requirements. Develop and maintain applications using Spring MVC, Spring Batch, and Spring Core frameworks. - Ensure code quality and consistency by leveraging GitHub Copilot and GIT for version control. Utilize Prompt Engineering techniques to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of software development processes. Manage deployment and configuration of applications on Web Logic Application Server. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement payment solutions, focusing on Payment Switch, International Payments, and Electronic Payments. Utilize Python for scripting and automation tasks to improve development workflows. Oversee the use of Maven for project build and dependency management. Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards in software development and deployment. Qualifications - Possess a strong background in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Demonstrate expertise in SQL Server, Postgre, and PL/SQL. Have extensive experience with Spring MVC, Spring Batch, and Spring Core frameworks. Show proficiency in using GitHub Copilot and GIT for version control. Exhibit strong knowledge of SOAP and RESTful web services. Be skilled in using Web Logic Application Server for application deployment. Have experience with Maven for project build and dependency management. Demonstrate proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
