Our Korea-based client is currently looking for a skilled Chrome Extension Developer to design, develop, and maintain browser extensions that will integrate seamlessly with our web applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with a deep understanding of the Chrome Extension APIs. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to create high-quality, scalable solutions.

Type of role: 100% Full-time remote

Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Chrome Extensions that enhance user experience and integrate with existing web applications.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement new features.Optimize Chrome Extensions for performance, security, and usability.Ensure compatibility with different versions of Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers.Debug and resolve issues reported by users or identified during testing.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and Chrome Extension API updates.Provide technical documentation and support for developed extensions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience in developing Chrome Extensions, with a portfolio of previously developed extensions.Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Experience with Chrome Extension APIs, including background scripts, content scripts, manifest files, and messaging.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.Knowledge of web security practices, including handling user data securely within extensions.Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with other browser extensions (e.g., Firefox, Edge) is a plus.Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).Understanding of browser internals and performance optimization techniques.Experience with automated testing and continuous integration for Chrome Extensions.
