Role Descriptioninitializ is looking to hire a Senior React Native Engineer to join our highly talented Labs team. As a React Native Engineer at initializ, you’ll be embedded on the Labs Engineering team, where you can work on next-generation Mobile Development. You’ll get to work directly with other Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Directors, all of whom comprise the team. In this highly collaborative environment, you will have the opportunity to grow as a software engineer.

Technical SkillsProficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and related frameworks/libraries.Strong understanding of iOS development tools and ecosystem (Xcode, Swift, Objective-C).Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party libraries.Building a full stack project, a React Native applicationSet and enforce high code standards for all our React Native applications.Be involved in feature requirements discussions.Build pixel-perfect, buttery-smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.Leverage native APIs for deep integration with both platforms.Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes- React Native moves fast and often breaks things.Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.Well-versed with the publishing process on AppStore and Play Store

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with native iOS development.Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration practices.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Contributions to open-source projects.5+ Years of ExperienceBuilt React Native applications from scratch.Be familiar with both iOS & Android design patterns.Should have excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)Experience in JavaScript and TypeScript or ClojureScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax, JSx & StyleSheet.Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programmingShould have exposure to API integration, worked with NodeJs, exposure to build and deploy apps via (CI/CD) pipelines
