Software Engineer- GIS developer or Maps technology

Job Purpose: Resource is responsible to develop services/applications in Javascript, React JS, SQL Server Technologies. Resource should have sound Knowledge of GIS and should have Spatial thinking .

Strong knowledge of Geolocation, Traffic & Map route, Map projection system. Resource should have capabilities to understand Business and System requirements and develop applications/services in Java technologies.

Principal Responsibilities:

1. Analysis of System Requirements2. Should be able to manage and develop portal (Web or Mobile app)3. Technical Design and Development in JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, ReactJs, NodeJS, jQuery, REST API and Oracle/SQL server technologies4. Gap analysis between the existing solution and proposed change5. To prepare module project plans and manage documentation, develop any necessary procedures required to support the proposed IT solution as per Quality Standards.6. Develop, Test, Deploy and Maintain Applications7. Review the coding done by outsourced partners8. Perform Unit Testing, SIT and provide support for Performance Testing & UAT9. Provide production support.10. Prepare Project documentation.11. Conform to IT processes.

Work Experience

• Having strong Object-Oriented Programming Concepts and design skills, Knowledge of GIS and should have Spatial thinking.- Strong knowledge of Geolocation, Traffic & Map route, Map projection system- Expertise in JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, ReactJs, NodeJS, jQuery, REST API- Able to manage GitHub project repository- Should have in-depth technical knowledge and experience on Google Map APIs- Should have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the ins and outs of the API management platform to apply security policies, traffic management, and other protocols that support the scaling as per APIs per standards.

Technical Competencies

• Application Programming - The ability to code and test modules that meet the design specifications in Map API Technologies as mentioned below –Primaryin JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, ReactJs, NodeJS, jQuery, REST APIGoogle Map APIs

SecondaryWriting SQL queries and creating DB objects in Relational Databases like Oracle, SQL Server. Analyzing PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions and DB triggers. Development of micro-services, container management platform.
