Outcomes:Deliver backend and integration layer enhancements to enable customers to upgrade, downgrade, and make new purchases.Build a new delegated integration layer between Salesforce and invoicing system to ensure all customers are billed correctly and promptly in all scenarios. General RequirementsResource working hours overlap at minimum with Team’s Core hours: 10 AM - 2 PM PST (Overlap with the entire PST working day is ideal)Fluent in English (both written and spoken).Active in team discussions.Strong attention to detailAbility to prioritize/manage multiple tasks Can unblock themselves. Lead Engineer can unblock other resource(s).Can communicate clearly and concisely with the project team.Collaborate clearly and concisely with business stakeholders to define project scope and refine requirementsExperience with Salesforce architecture and the various APIs.Experience working within an Agile environment, including daily standups, backlog grooming, as well as sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.Experience with keeping Jira tickets up to date and tracking project work in Jira, Jira Align, and ServiceNow.Supplier provides ongoing technical training, hardware, and baseline software (i.e. Windows 10 and MS Office) Role Requirements/ExpectationsSr. Engineering Qualifications/Expectations7+ years of experience with OOP 5+ years of experience with Apex (Triggers, Asynchronous Apex, etc.)5+ years of experience working with custom web services3+ years of experience with LWCComfortable working with Source Control (pulling, merging code, and using documented branching strategies)Has experience with working with monolithic legacy systemsPlatform Developer 1 CertificationPlatform Developer 2 CertificationBS in Computer ScienceNice to have 2+ years of experience working with Splunk dashboards to id code signals and error logsSalesforce JavaScript Developer CertificationDeliveryCan develop/ configure, test, deploy, and document featuresCan work independently and deliver features using Apex and LWC (primarily) and configuration tools (when needed)Follows best practices and design principles when writing codeWrites Clean Code. Emphasizing readability and scalabilityTests code completely, using unit tests, mocks, etc.Has Good error-handling practicesExcellent debugging skillsDevelop and maintain technical documentation.
