This is a 6 months contract with a possibility to extend.

Our partner is a successful shipping company specialising in over-sized cargo and vehicle shipment worldwide from US. The business turns around well over a hundred thousand vehicles per year and has outgrown its in-house developed business management system. To enable business growth a third-party website enhancing solution is being kicked off with an objective to generate more revenue for its direct customers.

As a Node.js developer you will:Implement features based on verbal and written requirementsSuggest best suiting technical solutions and help shape the productWrite well-designed, efficient codeReview, test and debug codeCoordinate product releases with internal teamIdentify and resolve codebase security vulnerabilitiesRemain up to date with modern technologies and development practicesPromote SOLID development principle

We expect you to:Have a strong proficiency in Node.js, TypescriptHave understanding of web application security principles and best practicesHave experience with web server technologies: HTTP servers, caching, proxies, load balancers, REST APIs and MicroservicesHave strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues

SalaryGross salary FROM 4,500 EUR based on skills and experience.
