Node JS Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js.API Development: Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components and third-party services.Database Management: Design and optimize database structures and queries using relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB) databases.Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.Testing & Debugging: Conduct unit tests and debugging to ensure high-quality, bug-free applications.Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.Performance Optimization: Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Node.js and backend development to improve processes and technologies.

Qualifications:

2+ years experience developing web, software applications2+ years of experience in mid-tier and Backend APIs with NodeJsBS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience2+ years experience in the Software design/architecture processExperience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)2+ years experience with web services (consuming or creating) with RESTSolid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong understanding of the Software design/architecture processThis is a remote based role.

Preferred:

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with AzureKnowledge of microservices architecture.
