To integrate seamlessly into our engineering squads, operating as a full-time member who drives complex software solutions within the Shopify ecosystem and contributes to developing our App extensions and other pivotal projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize Shopify applications, ensuring deep integration with its API stackParticipate in daily standups, and team meetings, and utilize communication tools such as Slack as a core team memberContribute to the development and troubleshooting of our Non-Plus API work / POS integrationsProvide technical leadership in navigating the Shopify ecosystem, applying out-of-the-box thinking to solve complex problems

Technical Skills:

Shopify API and Ecosystem ProficiencyExtensive experience with Shopify's REST and GraphQL APIsExpertise in building apps that leverage Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, and checkout extensibilityProgramming LanguagesAdvanced proficiency in Ruby on Rails for backend developmentStrong knowledge of GraphQLStrong knowledge of JavaScript, particularly with libraries like React and related FrameworksIntegration ExpertiseExperience integrating Shopify with third-party systems (ERP, CRM, payment gateways)Proficient in utilizing webhooks and other integration points within the Shopify ecosystem

Required Qualifications and Experience
