Senior Golang Developer

Our client, one of the world's leading retailers operating in over 30 countries, is actively seeking an enthusiastic Golang Software Engineer.

The team's mission is to develop an ERP platform for some of the biggest competitors in the retail market. This platform will utilize Golang on the backend and Vue.js for the user interface, all hosted on a public cloud infrastructure - Google Cloud, with Docker and Kubernetes. The architecture will be centered around the development of multiple modules, with each module containing several microservices.

The complexity of the project is high, and their engineers are responsible for end-to-end ownership of the Software Development Life Cycle.

The project is currently in its initial phase, with plans extending for at least the next 3 years. Multiple teams from various geographic locations will be involved, and the impact on the business is expected to be enormous.

Key Responsibilities:Make forward-thinking technology choices when creating new applications and providing APIs.Further develop and optimize existing applications and architectures, ensuring quality.Plan and implement new features, as well as establish connections with interfaces and databases.Provide technical consulting support to the internal business partners.

Requirements:Possess over 5 years of core development experience.Demonstrate expertise in object-oriented modeling and software design.Showcase extensive knowledge of Go programming; familiarity with other programming languages may be advantageous.Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, maintainability, and extensibility.Proficiency in Service-Oriented Architecture / Web Services, including SOAP and REST.Hands-on experience with developing REST APIs.Exhibit knowledge of cloud technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
