Job Summary:

Fluid AI is seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with a dual focus on backend development and the creation of AI-driven flows and integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible not only for building and maintaining the backend infrastructure but also for developing AI-powered workflows that allow our AI systems to interact dynamically with various APIs. This includes leveraging tools such as Langchain to build scalable, efficient, and innovative AI flows that enhance the user experience across our platform. The role requires a deep understanding of backend technologies, AI integrations, and API management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and databases that form the backbone of our AI-powered mobile application.• AI Flow Creation: Develop and implement AI-driven workflows using Langchain, focusing on creating dynamic interactions between our AI systems and external APIs.• API Integration: Lead the integration of various third-party APIs with our AI systems, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange.• Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers to integrate AI-powered features into the user interface and with data scientists to deploy and optimize machine learning models.• Microservices Architecture: Contribute to the design and development of microservices that support AI functionalities, ensuring modularity, scalability, and maintainability.• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of AI integrations, ensuring low latency and high reliability across all AI-driven services.• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices to protect data integrity and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.• Continuous Learning: Stay current of the latest developments in AI, API management, and backend technologies, and integrate new tools and methodologies into the development process.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with at least 4 years of experience, including significant experience in AI-driven applications.• Expertise in using Langchain or similar tools to create AI flows and integrations.• Proficiency in API integration and management, particularly with AI-related APIs.• Strong programming skills in languages Node.js and PHP with experience in backend framework Laravel.• Extensive experience with databases, particularly MongoDB or Azure Cosmos DB, including experience with handling large-scale data and AI model outputs.• Knowledge of microservices architecture and experience with containerization technologies like Docker.• Familiarity with concepts in Generative AI, such as chunking, RAG, and vector search, and their practical applications in AI workflows.• Proficiency with version control systems, especially GitHub.• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in implementing and managing AI-driven solutions in production environments.• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and infrastructure management.• Deep understanding of security best practices in backend and AI development, including data protection and privacy.
