Full Stack Web Application Developer - Initial 6 month FTC

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annumLocation: Fully remoteContract: Fixed term until 31st March 2025, with potential for extension.Hours: 35 hours/week

Role Overview: We are seeking a Full Stack Web Application Developer with strong MVC experience to develop a multi-tenant data management web application. You'll be the sole developer, responsible for establishing conventions and strategies for a clean, maintainable codebase using the Grails framework on Linux.

Key Requirements:MVC frameworks (Django or Jakarta EE/Spring) but must be willing to quickly get up to speed with Grails.Database-driven web developmentORM (Hibernate), PostgreSQL, JavaScript, BootstrapUX skills, Linux setupDatabase/schema migrations and data mapping

Highly Desirable:Biodiversity data knowledgeAWS experience (EC2, RDS)
