Seeking a Back End Developer - we’re a small, tight-knit operations development team that works on whatever is needed by the organization, typically within the Media space.

ResponsibilitiesWrite code and tests, build prototypes, and debug issues using the Go programming language and Goa web frameworkAct as an expert technical resource for modeling, design and analysis effortsOptimize applications for security, performance, and scalabilityDevelop automated tests to ensure business requirements are metCommunicate with stakeholders, project management, and quality assurance teams regarding business requirements and progress on technology roadmap

RequirementsMust have 5-10 years of experience in backend developmentProgramming in GoContainerization experience (Docker)CDN experience (Cloudflare, Fast.ly, etc.)Cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP)Experience in back-end programming or microservice programmingExperience with livestreaming delivery technology like HLS (will be working with HLS daily)Back-end services for deployment in cloud including Kubernetes, or working with AWS or GCP or Azure directly

Nice to Have Skills / Preferred RequirementsGoa back-end framework experienceVideo engineering experience (transcoders, broadcast engineering, etc.)Interest in basketball or racing

Compensation:The estimated pay range for this position is USD $75.00/hr - $87.50/hr and is an Exempt role.Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
