Front End Developer (Vanilla Javascript / SCSS)

We develop a resource scheduling SAAS that helps hundreds of companies and organisations to schedule their resources, staff and equipment all over the world.

I'm looking for an enthusiastic and experienced front end developer to join our small but growing start-up on a contract or part time / fixed term contract.

You'll be working closely with me, (founder and lead developer) to implement new features. You'll be highly motivated and excited to tackle some complicated challenges that require innovative solutions in a large and daunting code base.

What will you be doing?

Develop and improve on existing features on the frontend, utilising Vanilla JS, HTML5 and SCSSWrite front end tests using Playwright

What skills and experience do you need?

At least 3 years experience in working with primarily Vanilla JS code, with a large codebase and highly bespoke web applicationAt least 2 years experience using SCSS.Experience working with Docker development environments, based around a micro service architectureBe highly motivated and able to work autonomouslyHave a genuine excitement in solving complicated challenges for actual clients in the real world

Nice to have

Experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS)Backend experience using PHP and / or Node.js.

The position is remote based, however ideally you'll be based close to the NSW Central Coast to allow for in person catchups.
