Social Media API Developer

Kerner Norland is looking for a Social Media API Developer to work with a leading digital innovation client based in the UK. Our client partners with major platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), and TikTok to create smooth API integrations that improve user experiences and drive engagement.

What You’ll Do:Design, develop, and maintain API integrations with platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok.Work closely with product managers and engineers to understand needs and turn them into technical solutions.Build scalable and high-performance backend services using a variety of programming languages (Go preferred).Create and maintain user-friendly front-end applications with Vue.Ensure the security and reliability of API connections.Monitor and improve system performance.Troubleshoot and debug issues quickly and efficiently.Keep your code clean, well-documented, and easy to maintain.Stay up-to-date with the latest in API development and social media platforms.Participate in code reviews and give/receive constructive feedback.

What You Need:A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in API development, especially with social media platforms.Strong skills in API development—experience with Go is preferred.Experience with RESTful APIs and familiarity with the APIs of Meta, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok.Experience with Git for version control.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
