RequirementsWe are seeking an experienced PowerBuilder Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong software development background, with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with PowerBuilder. The primary responsibility is to upgrade an existing PowerBuilder application to the latest version while also implementing new features and enhancements to improve performance and functionality. Key Responsibilities:Upgrade the existing PowerBuilder application to the latest version.Design, develop, test, and implement new features and enhancements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.Maintain and optimize code quality, ensuring compliance with best practices.Provide technical support and guidance for legacy application migration and updates.Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the development process.Qualifications:5+ years of software development experience.2-3 years of hands-on experience with PowerBuilder.Proficiency in Java and/or SQL is preferred.Strong understanding of legacy application upgrades and modernization.Ability to quickly learn and understand existing codebases.Experience in upgrading legacy applications is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Skills:Experience in working with both on-premise and cloud-based environments.Knowledge of application integration techniques.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Educational Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
