Senior VBA Developer

For our client who is one of the biggest Japanese megabank the goal of the project is to decommission and migrate from MS office 365 32-bit to MS office 365 64-bit. We are finishing the first phase of the project.

Responsibilities:You will be a part of a small team which solely works on this project and cooperates with customer end-users, communicates ongoing progress, as well as results to the customer representatives.The role would be best suited to individuals that are able to drive the processes, focus on problem-solving and be resilient and persistent.

• Provides code review and refactoring (libs decommissioning, hardcoded paths review etc)- Files conversion and testing- Support testing

As part of this role Developers would be expected not only debug, code and re-write functionality, but as well perform developer's testing.

Mandatory Skills Description:- 5-6 years of proven experience as a developer- Experienced MS Excel user- Knowledge of VBA for applications- Python knowledge on basic-regular level- Experience working with global team, good communication and transpersonal skills- Must be a good team player and can work cooperatively or independently- Quick learner and problem solver

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:- Prior experience in financial industry, experience with trade flows, trade process
