Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated Django AI Intern with strong skills in Python, Django, and API development. The primary focus of this role is to work on implementing and optimizing REST APIs using the Django Rest Framework. While familiarity with AI models is beneficial, the main responsibility will be to integrate these models into our platform, ensuring seamless API functionality. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and contribute to deploying AI-driven solutions in a healthcare setting.

Key ResponsibilitiesAPI Development:Design, develop, and optimize REST APIs using Django and Django Rest Framework.Ensure efficient integration of AI models into the backend, focusing on API accessibility and performance.Collaboration and Integration:Work closely with backend developers and data scientists to integrate AI models provided by the team into the production environment.Ensure smooth deployment of APIs, utilizing cloud services for scalability and reliability.Data Handling:Collaborate in developing data pipelines that handle large volumes of medical data, ensuring data is properly processed and accessible via APIs.Documentation and Best Practices:Document API endpoints, integration procedures, and deployment strategies.Adhere to best practices in API development, including version control and code reviews.

QualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.Strong experience with Python and Django, particularly in developing REST APIs.Familiarity with Django Rest Framework and version control systems (e.g., Git).Basic understanding of AI models and how they can be integrated via APIs.Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS) is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in English and/or German.
