Role DescriptionAs an individual contributor at ExpertMonk, you will have the autonomy to own and develop specific features and modules from the ground up. You’ll join our engineering team and have the opportunity to work on our core product, solving deeply technical and challenging engineering problems at scale. Your responsibilities will focus on backend development, managing the tech team, designing the architecture, and overseeing workflows.

Key Responsibilities:Take ownership of features and modules, leading their development from inception to completion.Contribute to system design and architecture discussions, making significant technical decisions.Apply your expertise in architectural trade-offs in live projects.Ensure data security and encryption practices are implemented effectively.Manage software architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and workflow processes.Collaborate closely with the founders and C-Suite on high-impact engineering projects.Be adaptable and ready to take on additional engineering tasks, recognizing that we are an early-stage startup.

Qualifications:Minimum of 3+ years of Software Engineering experience with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.Extensive experience in system design, with a proven track record of making significant contributions to system architecture discussions.Proficiency in software architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and workflow management.Strong understanding of data security and encryption.Ability to work independently within a small team and directly with company leadership.
