MERN Developer

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled MERN Developer with at least 3 years of experience in developing and deploying scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of front-end and back-end technologies, experience working with PostgreSQL, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.Front-End Development: Build reusable, testable, and efficient UI components using React.js, ensuring the application is optimized for maximum speed and scalability.Back-End Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js, integrating them with PostgreSQL databases.Database Management: Work with PostgreSQL to design, develop, and maintain the database architecture, including writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and ensuring data security.Code Review & Documentation: Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency. Write clear and comprehensive documentation for all developed applications and APIs.Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products on time. Participate in team meetings and provide regular updates on project status.Testing & Debugging: Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure the stability and reliability of applications. Debug and resolve issues across the stack.Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply them to your work.

Required Qualifications:Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL.Proficiency: Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end development practices.Database Skills: Solid experience with PostgreSQL, including writing complex SQL queries, performance tuning, and database design.Version Control: Proficiency with Git and version control systems.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with MongoDB: Knowledge of MongoDB and its ecosystem, even though PostgreSQL is primarily used.Full-Stack Experience: Experience with both front-end and back-end development is highly desirable.Familiarity with DevOps: Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud services (AWS, Azure).Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
