Client : University of Wisconsin Role : WordPress Web Developer Location : Madison, WI (After Relocation to WI 100% Remote)

Top Required Skills and Years of Experience:3+ years experience:- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP- WordPress and the technologies and platforms that support it (e.g themes, plugins, Gutenberg editor, APIs, MySql, LAMP, etc)- Working with Web Hosting Control Panels (Plesk/cPanel), GIT (version control systems), Secure FTP, etc.- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Nice to Have Skills:- Experience administering and troubleshooting WordPress sites and/or Multisite installations- Experience with React JavaScript framework (or similar framework/library)- Knowledge of best practices and use of vendor plugins for WordPress- Understanding or knowledge of AWS- Knowledge of Foundation or other similar front-end development frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, Semantic UI, etc).- Ability to manage projects from start to finish, including scoping, planning, and execution- Experience with AWS cloud tools such as Route53 and CloudWatch- Basic understanding digital marketing tools and concepts such as SEO, web analytics, and how they apply to websites.
