Responsibilities

Responsible for Sitecore application development and system designCreates design documentation and diagrams, presents design for review, and spearheads technical requirements gatheringCoordinates tasks and activities related to POC developmentPrioritizes work, controls development process, executes periodic code reviews to evaluate the produced code against the quality standards, escalates technical issues and risks to Lead DeveloperGenerate thought leadership and contribute to best practices for Sitecore implementationsMentor Sitecore junior developers in best practices for web application development

Requirements

A degree in an associated field and/or other advanced certification along with significant experienceFront-end development experience, like JS, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap is a mustFamiliarity with enterprise architecture patternsExperience with Sitecore v10Experience with Sitecore MVC or Headless CMSFamiliarity with SOLID principles and secure coding practicesFamiliarity with content lifecycleSCRUM/Agile framework (Stand-ups, retrospectives, grooming, etc.)Understanding of web accessibility guidelines, web analytics, and SEOExperience managing DevOps processesUnderstanding of cloud-native architecture (Azure preferred), API-first development, and microservicesAbility to understand requirements and translate them into technical tasksGood communication and leadership abilityPreferred:

Experience with Solr queriesExperience with Coveo search or with other competing search platforms such as SearchStax, Algolia, ElasticSearch, and ReflektionExperience with NextJSRecent Sitecore developer certification
