Job Title: Tableau Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8 to 12 years of experience in Tableau and SQL technologies specifically within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will excel in developing testing and deploying Tableau solutions to drive business insights and support decision-making processes. This role requires a deep understanding of Tableau API Tableau Bridge Tableau Prep Database and SQL Business Object Tableau Testing and ANSI SQL.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement Tableau dashboards and reports to support business intelligence initiatives. Oversee the integration of Tableau solutions with various data sources ensuring seamless data flow. Provide technical expertise in Tableau API Tableau Bridge and Tableau Prep to enhance data visualization capabilities. Conduct thorough testing of Tableau solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability of data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for Tableau projects. Lead the deployment of Tableau solutions on Tableau Cloud ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Utilize ANSI SQL to query and manipulate data for Tableau visualizations. Maintain and optimize existing Tableau dashboards and reports to meet evolving business needs. Ensure data integrity and consistency across all Tableau solutions. Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau functionalities and best practices. Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and industry trends to continuously improve solutions. Contribute to the development of data governance policies and procedures. Drive innovation in data visualization techniques to enhance business insights.

Qualifications

Possess a strong background in Tableau API Tableau Bridge and Tableau Prep. Demonstrate proficiency in Database and SQL including ANSI SQL. Have extensive experience with Tableau Cloud and Tableau Testing. Exhibit deep domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance. Show excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Display strong communication and collaboration abilities. Hold a relevant certification such as Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Server Certified Associate.

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $84,000 - $95,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
