What you will be doing: The Java developer is part of the development and delivery team of internal and/or external projects, building and working on enterprise grade software systems. The Java Developer is involved in all areas of development from design to development to coding and testing.

In your day-to-day you will be responsible for:

Responsible for the technical design (Backend and frontend). Collaborating closely with all the other members of the team to take shared responsibility for the overall efforts that the team has committed to. Respect and drive improvements in established SLA’s (Service Level Agreements). Assist other development/support staff in troubleshooting application issues and providing assistance in resolving hard-to-find defects. Participate in code reviews on work produced by internal or external (consultants) software designers and work closely with QA to perform test plan reviews. Keep immediate lead informed on all project updates and changes. Drive continuous improvement and engagement of Fresche Solutions external clients. Contribute to knowledge sharing tools through blog posts and articles.

What you should have:

University or technical degree (DEC) in a relevant field. 5-7 years of experience as a Java developer. Excellent Knowledge of the following programming language: Java. Knowledge of SQL (Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL/MongoDB). Knowledge of Angular and /or React an asset. Knowledge in API (Rest API, Soap). Knowledge of the Devops process and associated tools such as: Jira, Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket, Nexus and others. Knowledge of design, modeling, and application architecture techniques. Eligibility to work in Canada.

Given the daily interactions required with colleagues and/or clients who are mainly located outside Quebec, this role requires fluency in English.
