Java Developer

Location: RemoteTimings: Night shift 7 PM until 2:30 AM India Time

Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver features that meet user needs.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows industry best practices and coding standards.Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring code quality.Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.Contribute to the design and architecture of new and existing applications.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and incorporate new tools and techniques into the development process.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.Requirements:5+ years of proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.Proficiency in Java and its ecosystems, Spring, Hibernate, and Maven.Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and web services.Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is highly desirable.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
