Make a difference for national security by joining a team of dedicated IT professionals who will sustain, modernize and transform the enterprise IT capabilities for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). The Air Force and Combatant Commands Business Group of SAIC is seeking an NCCS Software Developer Section 847 to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.
SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation's information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.
Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).
Job Description
As part of a team that executes an Agile methodology combining Lean Six Sigma and other best practices/methodologies to streamline planning and exaction you will have the ability to define the work needed to accomplish strategic goals.
Designs, sustains, enhances, optimizes, configures, migrates, troubleshoots, and tests applications as part of overall transformation efforts to provide innovative, emergent, and continual business process and enterprise IT solution improvements to the DCSA OCIO environment IAW DoD and DCSA OCIO policies, procedures, and data standards. Assists in developing and maintaining a DCSA Technology Roadmap to include current technologies and forecasts modernization effort and planned/new application requirements for increments three to five years in the future. Transforms software applications using innovative solutions to solve contractor or Government identified problems. Implements emerging technologies, performs patches and software upgrades, and researches and suggests new database products, services, and protocols. Transforms process improvements in a consistent, deliberate, and predictable manner. Provides continuous software/hardware improvement, including integrating information to facilitate data sharing across applications and meet data storage requirements, improving efficiency and performance, and lowering costs. Remains abreast of, implements, and executes processes for complying with Government data and security standards, including current records management policy for retention, or archiving of data. Performs prototyping of concepts to proof of concept, development of standards and test plans, code and module design, and data solution debugging for desired efficiency, performance, and intent. Performs testing for movement from development to production. Ensures existence of backup and recovery capabilities. Provides ad-hoc reporting, data management, and back-end data support for stakeholders.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
It is required that the NCCS Software Developer Section 847 have the following qualifications:
BA/BS Six (6) or more years or experience for a combination of experience and education. TS (SCI Eligible) Experience with Java. Experience with Angular Experience with SQL Sec+ certification
Desired Qualifications:
MA/MS Two (2) to four (4) years of experience Experience with BDP (Big Data Platform) TS/SCI
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
