We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Intermediate Cloud Developer / SME for a Full-Time remote position.

Job Summary:

As an Intermediate Cloud Developer / SME, you will participate in the project planning process, design and develop computer programs, and ensure systems compatibility while adhering to the client's development standards, procedures, and processes. You will also maintain contact with various stakeholders to monitor progress and coordinate different stages of the project. Your role will include designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the project planning process to determine programming and hardware needs.Assist or lead in preparing programming specifications and developing coding logic.Prepare charts, diagrams, and other documentation as required.Design, code, test, and debug computer programs using computer languages identified in the Infrastructure Tool Kit (ITK).Oversee the consistent utilization of client development standards, procedures, and processes to ensure systems compatibility.Follow data security procedures and identify potential data security risks.Maintain regular contact with team leaders, customers, contractors, and equipment vendors to monitor project progress and coordinate project stages.Maintain and update computer programs and systems, including rewriting systems documentation and instructions as necessary.Perform other job-related tasks as assigned to support the duties outlined above.

Required Skills and Expertise:

Experience with DevSecOps, secure coding practices, and the Solutions Development Framework (Docker, Jenkins, GitLab).Expertise in designing and developing event/message-based application services using message queues (e.g., Apache Kafka).Proficiency in using automated unit testing and user interface testing tools, ideally in a test-driven development approach.Familiarity with source code management tools, ideally in a CI/CD pipeline SecDevOps environment.Knowledge of API-centric, microservices, serverless applications, or similar cloud-friendly application designs.Experience in Cloud Development with tools such as Dataflow, PubSub, or Redis.Expertise in Microservices design, Kubernetes, Security, Performance tuning, High Observability Principles, Multi-threading, Java, and NoSQL Schema Design.

Working Knowledge one of more of the following qualifications:

Agile Methodologies.SDLC practices.Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc.).Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

Required Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in technology or software development.

Educational Requirements:

A degree from an accredited College or University in a relevant field is preferred.

If the candidate does not possess a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
