● Analyze COBOL scripts to generate comprehensive current state documentation,capturing architecture, functionality, and data flow. Prepare detailed Analysis/AS-ISsystem documents using tools like Visio to provide clear insights into existing systemsand future designs.● Participate in the migration of COBOL, JCL, and copybook scripts into GCP-equivalentsolutions using SQL, Python, or other cloud-native technologies. Collaborate with

cloud Data Engineers to ensure seamless translation of mainframe logic intocloud-compatible formats, maintaining functionality and performance.● Analyze user requirements, envision system features and functionality, and design,build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable mainframe code. Set expectationsand prioritize features to ensure successful project delivery.● Identify bottlenecks, bugs, and system inefficiencies, recommending effectivesolutions. Provide technical guidance and support throughout the migration process,troubleshooting development and production issues across multiple environmentsand operating platforms.● Understand architecture requirements and ensure effective design, development,validation, and support activities. Perform rigorous testing and validation of newlybuilt components, comparing results with legacy systems to ensure accuracy.● Assist in creating documentation and training materials to support ongoingmaintenance and development of migrated applications. Contribute to teammeetings and share insights to foster a collaborative working environment.
