Overview:Company is seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with extensive experience in developing responsive websites and theme-based WordPress pages.
Responsibilities:Utilize your expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to create and maintain high-quality, responsive WordPress websites that offer seamless user experiences.Develop theme-based WordPress pages, building and customizing themes to meet project specifications and design requirements.Implement and maintain web accessibility standards (WCAG 2 AA) to ensure that all websites are accessible to a diverse range of users, including those with disabilities.Work closely with the product team and designers to translate mockups into functional and aesthetically pleasing webpages, ensuring that all design elements are accurately implemented and optimized for web use.
Requirements:Currently enrolled in an undergrad or graduate program or a recent graduate in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field.3+ years of experience in developing responsive websites.Expert in HTML, CSS and developing responsive websitesExtensive JavaScript and PHP experienceExtensive experience developing theme-based Wordpress pagesExperience in developing accessible websites (WCAG 2 AA) and knowledge of web accessibility best practicesExperience working with designers to translate mockups into functional webpagesExperience building standardized WP themes is a strong plus
