Senior Core C++ Developer

What You Will Do...

As a Senior Core Engineer, you'll be hands-on with our shared codebase, shaping and maintaining the backbone of our products. We primarily work with C++20, but often reach out into platform specific code. You'll have plenty of freedom, learn new things, and make a real difference in what we build.

In this role, you will:Advance Document Capabilities: Help shape PSPDFKit’s mission by implementing the underpinnings of new document technology across our SDKs and other products.Collaborate with Your Peers: Work closely with members of your team as well as other engineering teams to create the building blocks that drive our products forward.Maintain the Codebase: Keep our shared codebase shipshape through maintenance and refactoring.Assist with Customer Support: Tackle those tricky, hard-to-debug bugs and provide stellar support to our customers.Extend Tests and CI: Write robust tests and ensure everything runs smoothly through continuous integration.TypeScript, C#, Java, Kotlin, Swift, etc: Dive into the code bases of the products relying on us (written in a variety of languages) to implement new features or fix issues.Improve your and our lives: No team or company is perfect and we’re all better for it if we can improve things - from team internal processes to company wide - every idea is welcome and giving feedback is highly appreciated.

We are a globally distributed company with a mostly remote team. We are a low meeting culture company and believe in the effectiveness of asynchronous communication. Working time must overlap with most of the team across the US and Europe. If working from the US, you must be located in Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, or Virginia for payroll processing.
