Job DescriptionPreferred experience with functional programming languages (such as SCALA or Clojure)● Experience working in a service-oriented or microservice architecture● Preferred experience with containerization, Docker, Kubernetes● Work well independently and as part of a team.● Experience with building RESTful APIs● Experience of writing unit testing codes in various unit testing frameworks● Experience working with JSON structures● Experience in various phases of testing, designing and developing complex enterprise applications.● Solid communication skills, verbal and written● Hands-on experience with automated testing tools● Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process● Building and deploying applications and release management Job ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the design and implementation (testing and Production releases) of sophisticated software systems using functional programming techniques.● Participate in software design and code reviews. Reviews include other Software Engineers and are held to ensure a high level of software quality and to share knowledge with team members. ● Participate in, and adhere to, professional software engineering practices using such tools and methodologies as Agile Software Development, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Source Code Management (git), Jira, and GitHub.● Participate in the planning, creation and execution of automated test cases and load/performance testing.● Address production issues in a timely manner. This includes root cause analysis and working with manager and team members to resolve the problem.● Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases ● Participate in SDLC: managing releases to all environments● Participate in On-Call Support as needed (rotation approximately 1 out of 6 weeks)
