Business Intelligence Developer

Job Title: Business Intelligence (BI) DeveloperLocation: Bucharest, Romania (Remote is possible with occasional visit to the office once in a while)Job Type: Permanent - Full-Time

About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and motivated BI Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and optimization of data movement-related procedures, views, and flows, utilizing MS SQL Server and Microsoft tools like SSAS and PowerBI. Your work will involve collaborating closely with Business Intelligence analysts and architects to implement new ideas and improvements that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities:Focus on the development of all data movement-related procedures, views, and flows for both frontend and backend, using MS SQL Server database and Microsoft tools (SSAS, PowerBI).Work closely with Business Intelligence analysts and architects to develop and implement innovative solutions. Participate in requirement analysis, effort estimation, and solution implementation within an international team.Assist business analysts with ad-hoc analyses of large data volumes, complex data models, and data extraction from operational systems.Design, code, test, debug, document, and support various data flows and transformation procedures, ensuring alignment with business requirements to deliver maximum value.Support, enhance, and modify existing applications and code to meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications:Strong knowledge of data warehousing, Business Intelligence, and physical data modeling techniques, especially in the context of data warehouses.Experience with physical database implementation and tuning based on logical data models.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional team members.

Nice to Have:Expertise in handling large data volumes with SQL.Experience with Python and Kubernetes.Familiarity with PostgreSQL.Previous experience in the telecommunications industry (4G/5G) is a plus.
