Role DescriptionThis is a remote contract role for a Unity Developer at Fanisko. We are looking for a highly skilled Unity Developer with a strong background in augmented reality (AR) development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with both ARCore (Android) and ARKit (iOS) platforms. You should also possess proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as Blender, Maya, or similar software to create and integrate 3D assets into AR environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement AR applications using Unity, ensuring seamless performance across both ARCore and ARKit platforms.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, artists, and product managers to bring AR experiences to life.Design and create 3D assets using tools like Blender, Maya, or equivalent software for integration into Unity projects.Optimize and fine-tune AR applications to ensure smooth performance across various devices.Stay up-to-date with the latest AR technologies and trends to continuously improve and innovate within the development process.Debug and resolve complex technical issues related to AR development in Unity.Contribute to the overall architecture of AR solutions, ensuring scalability and robustness.

QualificationsStrong expertise in Unity with a focus on AR development.Proven experience with ARCore and ARKit platforms, including deployment and optimization.Proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as Blender, Maya, or similar software.Solid understanding of C# and Unity scripting.Experience with mobile app development and a deep understanding of the constraints and optimizations needed for mobile AR applications.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
