Back End Developer

Unified Web Services is a leading web development company specialising in responsive web design, local SEO, and high-performing digital solutions. We are currently looking for a Back End Wizard to become part of our vibrant organization and assist companies in expanding their digital footprint.

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and databases. Your role will ensure that our web solutions are robust, scalable, and efficient.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs.Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.Implement data storage solutions and manage databases.Ensure security and data protection for all applications.Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications3+ years of experience in backend development with Python (Django/Flask).Strong understanding of RESTful API design and WebSocket communication.Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS).Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.Proficient in version control (Git) and working in a collaborative environment.Experience with GraphQL and API documentation tools (Swagger, Postman).
