Principal Java Back-End Developer – With Angular Frontend

We are currently seeking a creative and experienced BackEnd Developer (+15 years of total experience) to join our product and platform engineering team reporting directly to our Co-Founder & CTO. As a crucial team member, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces that enhance user engagement, drive customer satisfaction, and develop scalable and reliable backend services. You will have a unique opportunity to work directly with our CTO and contribute to one of the world's leading AI-powered future techno-economic and analytics platform.

What You'll Do:Back-End Development: Utilize the latest Java Version, Spring Core, hexagonal architecture in java and relational databases (MySQL) while applying best practices, such as the hexagonal architecture, unit testing, SOLID principles, and domain-driven design.Frontend Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Angular 15 (or higher) to implement responsive cloud-based web applications.UI/UX Design: Collaborate with design and product teams to transform wireframes and mockups into visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring seamless and intuitive user experiences.User-Centric Focus: Incorporate user feedback and insights into your design and development process, continuously iterating and enhancing user experiences based on real-world usage.Collaboration: Work closely with backend developers, product managers, and designers to align on technical requirements, user interface design, and implementation.Performance Optimization: Optimize frontend performance for fast loading times and smooth interactions, contributing to an exceptional overall user experience. Additionally, optimize backend performance through advanced techniques like multithreading and asynchronous processing.Quality Assurance: Write comprehensive unit tests and integration tests.

Our Tech Stack:

⚙️ Backend: Java 17 (Java 21 coming soon), Spark Java framework, Spring core (for dependency injection, noSpring Boot).🖥 Frontend: Angular, ng-bootstrap, Highcharts, AWS Amplify.☁️ Infrastructure: TBT's platform is Cloud-Native, built on AWS, including ECS Fargate, Amazon Aurora MySQL,Cognito, and CloudFront.🚚 CI/CD: GitHub, GitHub Actions.

Must have requirements:Hands-on experience with back-end technologies: Java, Spring Core, hexagonal architecture in java, and relational databases (>15 years must have).Experience with front-end technologies: Angular (>5 years must have).Familiarity with Docker, software containerization, and micro-services architectures (is a plus).Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL, REST-APIs and other technologies from our stack (is a plus).Comfort with Linux, especially AWS Linux/RedHat/CentOS/Fedora (Must have).Adaptability in a dynamic startup environment, eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.Strong problem-solving skills, finding innovative solutions to technical challenges.Proven experience in developing cloud services (3+ years for mid-level, 5+ years for senior).Strong command of English, both verbal and written (as we're an international team).
