Sr. Power BI developer (Only W2, No C2C)

Job description:We are looking for a skilled Power BI developer to join our team who can manage projects directly with the business users to gather requirements and translate to working solutions. In this role, you will transform large, complex datasets into presentable dashboards and reports for business decision-making. You will work closely with various stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that meet them.

Please Note: This is W2 role only, No C2C please.

Responsibilities:Designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the business stakeholders’ needs.Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysis.Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data.Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs.Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data presented in the dashboards.Creating complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysisTrain end-users on how to use the dashboards and reports effectively.Troubleshoot data-related issues and maintain the Power BI infrastructure.Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, updates, and best practices.

Requirements:Proficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creationStrong understanding of data modeling and data visualization conceptsExperience with SQL for data manipulation and extractionExperience with SQL, DAX, and other data languages.Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization principles.Ability to work independently.Adaptability to changing business requirementsBachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, or relevant fieldsPower BI certifications are a plus.
