You Are

UST is looking for a Java developer with expertise in Java 8 and above. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team.

Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycleWrite well-designed, testable, efficient codeEnsure designs are in compliance with specificationsPrepare and produce releases of software componentsSupport continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What You Need

0-5 years of experience in Java 8 or aboveHands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platformsProven hands-on Software Development experienceProven working experience in Java developmentObject Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)Experience with test-driven developmentWriting extensive unit testsProficiency in document and report writingAbility to work in a teamAwareness of Software Development Life CycleLogical and critical thinking skillsProficiency in Agile Development environmentHealthcare domain knowledge is an added advantage.Good written and verbal communication skillsGood analytical skillsGood time-management skillsGood problem-solving skillsGood teamwork – team player

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience.  As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.  

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $63,000-$95,000

Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options.
